Battlenet account

Do people usually organize to play with other people they know? I couldn't figure out how to find a game that is on the first quest.|||There is the Player Match-up forum for that sort of thing. Good luck with b.net (battle.net).

http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=31|||I was curious to see what an online game is like. I thought I could just go and join a game.|||You can, but if the creator of the game already completed quests on the difficulty that you are in you will be unable to complete the quest iirc. The game will say quest cannot be completed.

I wish I could help more, but I do not play on b.net. I only play single player. Hopefully someone else will come and answer this better than I can.|||Quote:

Well, if you really want my 2c:

B.net consists of 2 things: rushing and baaling(sometimes chaosing)

Most people who play in public games do not want to quest through the game, they want to be rushed through. So they will do everything in their power to not actually play the game. Eventually when you get to hell there will be a lot of baal games, these will mostly be run by Bots, They auto tele to throne, BO, and only ask for help to kills wave 2 (because they are usually Hammerdins) They will use Autopick to pick up all of the good items/runes a split second after they hit the ground, so there is not a lot of chance to get good items. There will also be random AD Bots that will pop into any game and spam the screen full of text about there web site selling D2 items for money. And a good amount of the stuff out there is Duped, and Blizzard doesn't really care. The people that do play legit and such generally play in private games.

I played on Bnet for 8 years, and I have never looked back since I went to SP.
