Question about farming run etiquette

[:1]Hello everyone, I have a few questions about proper behavior on farming runs.

1). Are they even worth the trouble for loot? Or are the runs infested with players using pickup programs to snatch the good stuff before you can even see it?

2). If they are worth it how does loot distribution work? I remember when I was playing back in the day it would just be a free for all clickfest for drops. Has that changed?

Thanks|||You can still get plenty of good stuff in public games, its mostly the bots that are using a pick up cheat.

Drops in public games are usually a FFA, sometimes whoever teleports to Baal will want first pick on his drop, but they will usually say so.

Games with people you know: always a good idea to decide BEFORE something good drops who's going to get it. This will make it much easier to preserve friendships.|||99% of "baal-whatever" games are hosted by some stupid bot that will pick up all the loot.

If you find the "chaos and baal" games they are more likely to be real players (I don't know if there are bots that do chaos and baal, but I've had good luck with finding real people in them) and probably won't have scripts grabbing up the loot.

It's still usually free for all looting though.|||Farming runs are pointless IMO, you don't need help at that. Better do item-finding alone in private games or by entering public games and going to elsewhere than the others and without entering the party (else they know where you are).|||I agree. Get to the point where you can do farming runs on your own. You don't have to worry about your inventory space too much because you are able to take your time, go to town and put whatever in your stash. Also, it always burns me up when someone else snatches something awesome up 1 millisecond before I clicked on it. Don't know if that's just me though.
