Hello, asking for suggestions...

[:1]Hello, first time back in about 2-3 years :P

Wondering what the best way is to generate wealth, is it still rush then farm hell meph using moat trick? wondering if there is better ways to start getting equipment so I can farm other things.|||there is that, along with farming torchs... if you get lucky and get a high stat one you can generally sell it for a lot. rune drops are also much better now, so you can farm chaos for them or trav.|||I would say collect Perfect gems and runes. All runes.

Especially Lem and up, but also Ral/Thul/Ort/Nef/Ko since they are used in cube recipes and crafting.

Read up in this forums Trade Value section, see whats valueable in Rare Boots/Belts, and what uniques that players want. So you dont waste space on items no one wants.

That, plus runes needed to make Spirit and to clear the shield in case of a bad FCR rolll: Tal Thul Ort Amn Hel. Nightmare is enough for that. Visit crowded areas and the Countess. Don't forget to make the runewords Stealth, Rhyme, Spirit (sword) Insight (for the merc) and maybe Lore from nightmare Countess runes before continuing with the quests.

A blizzard sorc will have no problems in nightmare. A few bosses and act 5 monsters are cold immune, but your merc should be able to deal with them. Your sorc can help with static field and telekinesis.|||Also keep an eye out for desirable socketables. I managed to fund most of a Frenzy Barb by Trading off 4soc Monarchs and 3-4 soc Dusk Shrouds and Archon Plates when I didn't have a lot of MF.

Eth Collosus Voulge (4-5 soc)

Eth Collosus Blade (4-6 soc)

Eth Balrog Blade (4soc)

Eth Phase Blade (4-6 soc, 5 is VERY desirable for Grief)

Eth Berzerker Axe (same as phase blade)

Archon Plate (3-4 soc)

Dusk Shroud (3-4 soc)|||Quote:

CV can possibly have 4 sockets max and besides that, 5s polearms arent very expensive, um-mal top for eth non-ed one.|||i would farm the dungeons that are a part of the alvl 85 places that are a bit easier than bosses while your heavily under geared.The best items in the game drop here as well as higher high rune drop rate.

lvl 85 areas Mausolem(place by bloodraven)/the pits lvl 1,2/Ancient tunnels/maggot lair lvl 3/act 3 sewers/act 3 temples/river of flame/chaos sanc/the world stone all lvls/

Also another method i use is the upping runes up to vex or ohm.

link below tells you all recipes for upping the runes among other things.

http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/cube.shtml|||past ladders I've had luck with keys too A Nil runner can do him fast and gain some equity since they are 2 or 3 for 1 depending on the market. or run the other 2 and trade up for sets.
