Starting again after 2 years

[:1]Hi guys, I am starting to play D2 again for the first time in 2 years to gear up for D3. Since I have to start new again on the ladder, I am starting with a sorceress (magic finder) with a meteorb build. Does this sound like the way to go to get started again? If anybody could help me out getting started through some of the opening acts in normal let me know since I don't know anybody in-game anymore, my username on US-East is Viperbitex. Thanks guys.
